Enum GamepadButton
Platform-agnostic identifiers for the standard buttons found on a modern gamepad controller.
Namespace: Scylla.Input
Assembly: ScyllaInput.dll
Syntax
public enum GamepadButton
Remarks
The naming convention follows the cardinal-direction layout of the face buttons (South, East, West, North) rather than platform-specific labels, so that game code remains portable across Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo hardware. Platform labels are provided in each member's summary for quick reference.
These values are accepted by the IInputBridgeManager query methods
(IsGamepadButtonPressed, WasGamepadButtonPressedThisFrame,
WasGamepadButtonReleasedThisFrame). Analog inputs - stick axes and trigger
values - are accessed through separate methods on IInputBridgeManager
rather than through this enum.
LeftTrigger and RightTrigger appear in this enum for
digital pressed/released queries. For the analog float values use
IInputBridgeManager.GetGamepadLeftTrigger() and
IInputBridgeManager.GetGamepadRightTrigger() respectively.
