Enum ScyllaModuleDependencyIssueType
Classifies a single problem found in the module dependency graph by CheckDependencies(List<ScyllaModuleDependencyIssue>).
Namespace: Scylla.Core.Modules
Assembly: ScyllaCore.dll
Syntax
public enum ScyllaModuleDependencyIssueType
Remarks
The three Hard members are fatal: a module declaring one of them cannot run.
The remaining members are advisory and reported so that tooling can surface them,
but they do not prevent the framework from starting.
Fields
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| HardDependencyCycle | Two or more modules form a cycle through their Hard dependencies, so no valid initialization order exists. Fatal. |
| HardVersionMismatch | A Hard dependency is present but its version is below the minimum the declaring module requires. Fatal. |
| MissingHardDependency | A module declares a Hard dependency on a module that is not present in the registry. Fatal. |
| MissingSoftDependency | A module declares a Soft dependency on a module that is not present in the registry. The declaring module is expected to degrade gracefully, so this is informational only. |
| SoftDependencyCycle | Two or more modules form a cycle through their Soft dependencies. Initialization order is still resolvable, but the cycle indicates a design problem that becomes fatal if any edge in it is later promoted to a hard dependency. |
| SoftVersionMismatch | A Soft dependency is present but its version is below the minimum the declaring module requires. The declaring module still runs. |
