Enum ScyllaAAQuality
Defines pipeline-agnostic anti-aliasing quality levels for camera configuration within the Scylla framework. This enum controls the sampling precision and computational intensity of the selected anti-aliasing mode, allowing developers to balance visual quality against GPU performance cost.
Namespace: Scylla.Core
Assembly: ScyllaCore.dll
Syntax
public enum ScyllaAAQuality
Remarks
When using URP, values map to UnityEngine.Rendering.Universal.AntialiasingQuality.
When using HDRP, values map to the per-mode quality settings on HDAdditionalCameraData.
The mapping is handled internally by the Scylla camera system.
The effect of each quality level depends on the active ScyllaAAMode. For example, SMAA uses progressively more edge-detection passes at higher quality, while TAA adjusts its temporal filtering parameters. Setting quality on None has no effect.
Fields
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| High | High quality anti-aliasing with the maximum number of samples and most sophisticated filtering available. Produces the smoothest edges and best overall image quality but at the highest GPU cost. Recommended for cinematic rendering, screenshot capture, or high-end platforms where visual fidelity is the primary concern. |
| Low | Low quality anti-aliasing with the fewest samples and simplest filtering. Provides the best performance and is recommended for mobile platforms, VR applications, or scenes where GPU overhead must be minimized. Edge smoothing is applied but may leave visible aliasing on thin geometry or high-contrast edges. |
| Medium | Medium quality anti-aliasing that provides a balanced trade-off between visual quality and GPU performance cost. Uses more samples and improved filtering compared to Low, producing noticeably smoother edges at a moderate performance increase. Suitable for most desktop and console targets. |
