Enum StairsColoringMode
Selects how ScyllaLinearStairsShape, ScyllaCurvedStairsShape, and ScyllaSpiralStairsShape map their mesh quads onto resolver face indices. Geometry is identical in all modes; only the per-quad color assignment changes.
Namespace: Scylla.Core.Util.Geom
Assembly: ScyllaCore.dll
Syntax
public enum StairsColoringMode
Remarks
All three stair shapes use per-region dispatch: they call Resolve(int, int, Vector3) once per logical color region and share the returned color across every vertex of that region. The face index passed to the resolver corresponds to the region index defined by the active StairsColoringMode value, not to individual quads or triangles.
The granularity of PerStep differs between the three shapes; see that value's documentation for the per-shape breakdown.
When used with PaletteFaceColorResolver, the resolver face index is mapped to a palette entry according to the active FaceColoringMode.
Fields
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| PerStep | One resolver index per step. The per-quad granularity differs by shape: ScyllaLinearStairsShape resolves a fresh color for every emitted face (tread, riser, bottom, back, and each side column); ScyllaCurvedStairsShape resolves one color per step and shares it across that step's tread, underside, walls, and riser; ScyllaSpiralStairsShape resolves one color per tread shared across that tread's six sub-faces, plus one more for the central column. Useful for visualizing the step decomposition and for design tools where every step should read as distinct. |
| TreadsAndStructure | Two resolver indices for the whole staircase: |
